You Think This Is a Game?! Oh Wait, It Is...

Hello all my horror lovers out there! Today I present to you 5 free online horror games that I like. I'll probably release more in the future, but let's start with these:

1. Killer Escape

This is a great horror escape game series with an evolving story line. Created by Psionic Games, this first installment in a 4 part game series starts you off in a prison cell with rather grim surroundings. You must find away out before the masked killer who brought you there comes back to do who knows what to you. Like I said, its a part one so the end of this game...is really just the beginning. 2. Curse Village

Enter the village if you dare! Belugerin Games presents a line defense game where the player stands off against waves of oncoming zombies. With hauntingly gritty yet well drawn animation, this game entertains as you go from location to location clearing out the undead and obtaining new weapons. This is also a game that has sprung sequels, although I have yet to play them. How long do you think you'll last? Click here to play!


3. The Necronomicon

Based loosely on the skin-bound book of horrors from the Evil Dead franchise, this online card game gets addicting pretty quickly. There are two modes: game and challenge. In game mode you can play a normal game of Necronomicon, tainting your opponent and attacking with beasts and spells. In challenge mode, you can play through 21 various game scenarios playing with increasingly harder handicaps and obstacles. Ah yes, one could spend hours flipping digital cards and keeping boredom away. I believe this game had one sequel. See if  you can defeat the Great Cthulhu! Click here to play!


4. Deep Sleep

A pixelized point and click horror game by Scriptwelder, who has created so many of my favorite horror escape games. This will definitely not be the last Scriptwelder creation I promote as they make excellent games. In Deep Sleep, a part one of a three part series, you are not only trying to escape a house, but your own nightmare. The atmosphere of the game alone is sure to give you the heebie jeebies. 5.Caverns of Blood Game

This is a personal and precious source of nostalgia for me. As a kid I would surf Caverns of Blood for hours and my favorite thing to do would be to play the Caverns game. In this story driven, text based adventure, you are a cave spelunker looking for the highly sought after Cave of Jewels. However, to get there you must pass through one hellish cave after another escaping monsters and possibly losing limbs! It mixes humor with love of horror and if you make it to the end, you get a certificate for achievement. So official! Click here to play!
